This industrial sector covers the flow of forest products from tree harvesting to the manufacturing and wholesaling of lumber, wood products and paper products. This sector also covers services related specifically to forestry.

This subsector consists of groupings of companies primarily engaged in forest operations related to the felling of trees and more generally to the exploitation of forests.

07 - Wood and Wood Products

This subsector consists of groupings of companies primarily engaged in the processing of logs or milling of lumber. Wooden products for which there is a specific subsegment concerned with use rather than component material are covered in the appropriate subsegment.

08 - Wood and Paper Products

This subsector consists of groupings of companies primarily engaged in manufacturing pulp and paper or converted paper products; conducting integrated logging and pulp and paper operations; or wholesaling pulp, paper and converted paper products.

09 - Wood, Wood Products and Paper, Integrated Operations

This subsector consists of companies primarily engaged in operations which integrate the production of logs, lumber, and pulp and paper.
