1 - Principal applicant

This category includes immigrants who were identified as the principal applicant on their application for permanent residence.

2 - Secondary applicant

This category includes immigrants who were identified as the married spouse, the common-law or conjugal partner or the dependant of the principal applicant on their application for permanent residence.
