This category includes persons who did not live in the same residence on the reference day as on the same date one year earlier.

2.2 - Migrant (one year)

This category includes movers who did not live in the same census subdivision on the reference day as they did on the same date one year earlier.

2.2.1 - Internal migrant (one year)

This category includes migrants who lived in Canada one year ago.

2.2.2 - External migrant (one year)

This category includes migrants who did not live in Canada one year ago.
