14 - Maintenance and storage facilities

Maintenance/storage facilities provide support and upkeep of the transit vehicle fleet, including light and/or heavy maintenance of transit vehicles. This type of building is usually joined to a vehicle storage building or yard, which provides parking for transit vehicles during downtime.
