This instructional program class comprises any fellowship training program that prepares physicians to evaluate individuals involved with the legal system and provide specialized treatment to those incarcerated in jails, prisons, penitentiaries, and forensic psychiatric hospitals. These programs include instruction in the interrelationships between psychiatry and civil, criminal, and administrative law. Requires prior completion of a residency program in psychiatry.
