This instructional program class comprises any fellowship training program that prepares physicians to specialize in disorders of the internal (endocrine) glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands. These programs include instruction in diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, obesity, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems. Requires prior completion of a residency program in internal medicine.
