This instructional program class comprises any fellowship training program that prepares physicians in the diagnosis and management of disorders of nerve, muscle, or neuromuscular junction. These programs include instruction in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, peripheral neuropathies, various muscular dystrophies, congenital and acquired myopathies, inflammatory myopathies, and neuromuscular transmission disorders. Requires prior completion of a residency program in neurology, child neurology, or physical medicine and rehabilitation.
