This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals, under the supervision of physicians, to operate hyperbaric (recompression) chambers for the treatment of disease. These programs include courses in patient assessment and management, hyperbaric safety, physics of hyperbaric and hypobaric exposures, physiology, hyperbaric chamber operation, and air decompression procedures.
