13.1012 - Education/Teaching of Individuals with Speech or Language Impairments

This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the study and design of educational services for children or adults with speech and language impairments which adversely affect their educational performance and that prepares individuals to teach such students. These programs include courses in identifying students with speech and language impairments, developing individual education plans, teaching and supervising students with speech disabilities, counselling, and applicable laws and policies.
