This industry group comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing non-residential, individual and family, social assistance services.

6242 - Community Food and Housing, and Emergency and Other Relief Services

This industry group comprises establishments primarily engaged in the collection, preparation and delivery of food for the needy; providing short-term emergency shelter; and providing food, shelter, clothing, medical relief, resettlement and counselling to victims of domestic or international disasters or conflicts.

6243 - Vocational Rehabilitation Services

This industry group comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing vocational rehabilitation or habilitation services, such as job counselling, job training, and work experience, to unemployed and underemployed persons, persons with disabilities, and persons who have a job-market disadvantage because of lack of education, job skill or experience; and training and employment to mentally and physically handicapped persons in sheltered workshops.
