32 - Non-binary marriage or common-law union
This category includes persons who are living as part of a couple (married or common-law) in which at least one member is non-binary and neither member is transgender.
Transgender persons include those whose reported sex at birth does not correspond to their reported gender. They include transgender men and women. Non-binary persons are excluded.
Non-binary persons include those whose reported gender is not exclusively male or female.
