1 - No college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma

This category includes persons who have not obtained any postsecondary certificate or diploma from a college, CEGEP or other non-university institution regardless of any other educational credentials they may have obtained. Persons who have obtained college, CEGEP or other non-university certificates or diplomas based only on programs that are typically completed in less than the minimum duration (3 months) are included in this category.

11 - No college certificate or diploma, no bachelor's degree or higher

This category includes persons who have not obtained any postsecondary certificate or diploma from a college, CEGEP or other non-university institution and who have also do not have a bachelor's degree or higher.

Persons in this category may or may not have other postsecondary credentials, such as an apprenticeship or trades certificate or diploma.

12 - No college certificate or diploma, with bachelor's degree or higher

This category includes persons who have not obtained any postsecondary certificate or diploma from a college, CEGEP or other non-university institution, but who do have a bachelor's degree or higher. A bachelor's degree or higher includes any of the following credentials: a bachelor's degree (whether completed at a university or a college); a university certificate or diploma above the bachelor level; a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry; a master's degree; or an earned doctorate.
