71.0101 - Cannabis product processing and inspection
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to receive, inspect, store, process, and package cannabis plants and products in the form of medicinal products, human food consumables, and other products. These programs include courses in the medicinal and nutrient properties of various cannabis products; drying, curing, milling, extraction and other processing operations; packaging; logistics and storage procedures; inventory control; security requirements; sanitation; health and safety procedures; applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements; and related technical and business principles.
71.0102 - Cannabis production operations and management
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to produce, cultivate, propagate, harvest, store, and deliver cannabis plants and products outdoors and in controlled indoor environments for retail, wholesale, medicinal, commercial, research, and other purposes. These programs include courses in applicable principles of plant science; cultivar selection; plant management and care; growing mediums and hydroponic systems; product testing and quality assurance; plant nutrition, environment, lighting, climate, irrigation and pest control equipment operation and maintenance; facilities management; inventory control; security requirements; sanitation; health and safety procedures; applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements; principles of business management; supply and delivery services; software applications; and personnel supervision.
71.0103 - Cannabis product development and plant breeding
This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the application of genetics and genetic engineering to the improvement of cannabis plant health, the development of new cannabis products and cannabis plant strains, and the selective improvement of cannabis plant populations. These programs include courses in genetics, genetic engineering, population genetics, agronomy, plant protection, and biotechnology; inventory control; security requirements; sanitation; health and safety procedures; and applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements.
71.0104 - Cooking with cannabis, general
This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the general study of integrating cannabis into cooking and related culinary arts, and that prepares individuals for employment within the food service industry. These programs include courses in preparing food with cannabis; cooking techniques; equipment operation and maintenance; sanitation; health and safety procedures; applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements; communication skills; and principles of food service management.
71.0105 - Cannabis culinary arts/cannabis chef training
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to provide cannabis specialty professional chef and related cooking services in restaurants and other commercial food establishments. These programs include courses in how to incorporate cannabis in recipe and menu planning and in preparing and cooking foods; supervising and training kitchen assistants; managing food supplies and kitchen resources; sanitation; health and safety procedures; applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements; the aesthetics of food presentation; and familiarity with or mastery of a wide variety of cuisines and culinary techniques.
71.0106 - Cannabis health policy analysis
This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the systematic analysis of public policy and health policy issues and decision processes related to cannabis. These programs include courses in cannabis health issues and policies; the role of economic and political factors in cannabis related public decision making and policy formulation; research, evaluation and analysis methods; statistical methods; and applications to specific cannabis policy topics.
71.0107 - Cannabis abuse/cannabis addiction counselling
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to help prevent cannabis abuse, counsel individuals and families with cannabis problems, and perform intervention and therapeutic services for persons suffering from cannabis addiction. These programs include courses in individual and group counselling skills, psychology of cannabis addiction, sociology, crisis intervention, cannabis abuse identification methodologies, cannabis abuse treatment modalities, cannabis abuse prevention and treatment resources, pharmacology and behavioural aspects of cannabis, treatment evaluation, patient observation and education, group dynamics, professional standards and ethics, and applicable laws and regulations.
71.0108 - Cannabis public health
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to plan, manage, and evaluate public health care services related to cannabis; and to function as cannabis public health professionals in public agencies, the private sector, and other settings. These programs include courses in public health principles, preventive medicine, epidemiology and biostatistics; cannabis health policy, economics and budgeting; public communications; administration of cannabis health education campaigns and programs; community health services and delivery; cannabis laws, regulations and law enforcement; and professional standards and ethics.

This instructional program class comprises any program not listed above that relates to cannabis health professions and related clinical sciences.
71.0110 - Cannabis selling skills and sales operations
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to possess the skills associated with direct promotion of cannabis products and services to potential customers and to function as cannabis sales representatives and managers. These programs include courses in over-the-counter and other direct sales; sales organization and operations; interpersonal communications; team/staff supervision; customer service; applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements; professional standards and ethics; and applicable technical and administrative skills.
71.0111 - Cannabis marketing and marketing operations
This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to perform operations connected with the distribution and sale of cannabis plants and products, related accessories and end-use supplies; promote cannabis brands and product lines; create and implement branding strategies for target markets; attract customer loyalty and retail and wholesale interest. These programs include courses in marketing research; wholesaling and retailing; storage and distribution; customer relations; customer sales, service and assistance; media relations; consumer research and sales forecasting; applicable laws and government regulatory and licensing requirements; basic office management; and applicable technical and administrative skills.
