Progress of Seeding Follow-Up Survey 2001: Explanatory Note This questionnaire is designed and completed in conjunction with the Census of Agriculture (CEAG). It was necessitated by the change in Census Day (in 1996) to the second Tuesday of May from the traditional first Tuesday of June. The follow-up will contact "larger" field crop respondents to the CEAG. The purpose of the follow-up is to update the CEAG database with data on actual area planted to field crops (rather than the "intentions" reported on the CEAG). Results of the follow-up will replace original census responses and will become part of the CEAG database. They will not be published on their own.
