Purpose

The purpose of this survey is to collect quarterly financial information on the revenues, expenditures and assets of trusteed pension funds. Within Statistics Canada, these data are used as input to the System of National Accounts.

Authority

This is a mandatory survey. Confidential when completed. Collected under the authority of the Statistics Act, Revised Statutes of Canada,1985, Chapter S19 (22).

Confidentiality

The data reported on the questionnaire are protected under the Statistics Act and will be treated in strict confidence, used for statistical purposes and published in aggregate form only.
