Reference period of change - first quarter 2025

As of the first quarter of 2025, this survey has transitioned from a monthly to a quarterly frequency.

The last period collected monthly was December 2024. The First iteration of the Quarterly Millers survey was for the quarter from January to March 2025. These data were collected from April 1 to April 8, 2025, and released on April 30, 2025.

The new quarterly data appear in CODR table 32-10-0479. The old monthly data appear in CODR table 32-10-0016.

Previously, millers data collected monthly was augmented by data collected annually as part of the Annual Millers survey. As of the first quarter of 2025, the Annual Millers survey (millers that process under 500 metric tonnes of cereal grains per month) has been discontinued, the sample from this survey has been combined with the old Monthly Millers survey (millers that process over 500 metric tonnes of cereal grains per month), to create the new Quarterly Millers survey sample.
