Reference period of change - 2021
The main objective of 2021 CNICS was to produce estimates of coverage for childhood vaccines at the provincial or territorial level for 2 year-old children and pregnant women. Additionally, national level of coverage estimates were produced for children aged 7, 14 and 17 years old. For the first time, questions on immunization during the COVID-19 pandemic were added to the questionnaire.
Reference period of change - 2019
The main objective of 2019 CNICS was to produce estimates of coverage for vaccines at the national level for children aged 2, 7, 14 and 17 years old and pregnant women. Immunization coverage for pregnant women was measured for the first time.
Reference period of change - 2017
The main objective of 2017 CNICS was to produce estimates of coverage for childhood vaccines at the provincial or territorial level for children 2 years of age and at the national level for children aged 7, 14 and 17 years old. HPV coverage was measured for the first time for both boys and girls.
Reference period of change - 2015
The main objective of 2015 CNICS was to produce estimates of coverage for childhood vaccines at the national level for boys and girls aged 2, 7 and 17 years old, and girls aged 14 years old.
Reference period of change - 2013
The main objective of 2013 CNICS is to produce estimates of coverage for childhood vaccines at the provincial or territorial level for boys and girls aged 2, 7 and 17 years old, and girls aged 12-14 years old.
Reference period of change - 2011
In CNICS 2011, the main objective was to produce estimates at the national level for boys and girls aged 2, 7 and 17 years old, and girls aged 10-14 years old.
