Indigenous Peoples Survey (IPS)
Age of person, category
Age refers to the age of a person (or subject) of interest at last birthday (or relative to a specified, well-defined reference date).
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:
- Age categories by five-year age groups
- Age group - 18-24 years variant
- Age Group - Regrouping Variant, 6 to 55 Years and Over, Sub-Groups Under 25
