Difficulties accessing health information or advice refers to whether or not the person reported difficulties accessing health information or advice for him or herself or for a family member in a specified period. "Family member" refers to an individual living in the same dwelling as the person, who is related to the person, and for whose care the person is responsible.
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
