Chronic disease of person, category

Chronic disease refers to whether or not the person has been diagnosed by a professional with a chronic condition, that is, a long-term condition which is expected to last or has already lasted six months or more.

Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programmes.
