Frequency of gathering wild plants of person, category
Frequency of gathering wild plants refers to the number of times a person took part in wild plant gathering activities within a given period of time. Wild plants include, for example, rice, berries and sweet grass.
Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:

- Aboriginal peoples survey, harvesting activities by Aboriginal identity, age group and sex, population aged 15 years and over, Canada, provinces and territories Table: 576-0005
- Aboriginal peoples survey, harvesting activities by age group and sex, Inuit population aged 15 years and over, Canada and Inuit Nunangat Table: 576-0006
