Frequency of in-person contact refers to the frequency with which a person has had in-person (face-to-face) contact with friends in a given month.

Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.

The data for this variable are reported using the following classifications and/or lists:

• Frequency of Contact with Friends or Relatives
