Place of death of person, category

Place of death refers to the last physical residence of the decease either in a hospital domicile or a non hospital domicile. In Quebec, deaths in residential and long-term care centres are included in "hospital" category.

Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.
