Level of employment of geographic area, count

Level of employment refers to all persons, both employees and self-employed persons, engaged in some productive activity that falls within the production boundary of the System of National Accounts and that is undertaken by a resident institutional unit.

Geographic area refers to areas whose boundaries are specifically delimited in accordance with well-defined concepts and which, in total, cover the entire landmass of Canada. It excludes Canadian territorial enclaves abroad.
