Resource industry of geographic area, status

Resource industry refers to the type of economic activity that contributes to the economic base of a territory. A territory can be based on more than one type of resource industry.

Geographic area refers to areas whose boundaries are specifically delimited in accordance with well-defined concepts and which, in total, cover the entire landmass of Canada. It excludes Canadian territorial enclaves abroad.
