Nights spent during a visit of person, count

Nights spent during a visit refers to the number of nights spent during an overnight visit, whether while travelling in Canada or in a foreign country. If more than one person travel together, the value of nights accounts for all persons in the travelling party as if they were travelling separately.

Person refers to an individual and is the unit of analysis for most social statistics programs.

The data for this variable are reported using the following measurements:

• Whole number
