Variant of CIP 2016 - STEM and BHASE groupings

Summary of changes

The Variant of Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) 2016 - STEM and BHASE groupings was developed jointly by Standards Division and Tourism and the Centre for Education Statistics Division (TCESD) and replaces the Variant of CIP 2011 - STEM groupings. The term Non-STEM in the previous classification variant has been replaced by the term BHASE. Changes to the 2016 variant structure include the elimination and redistribution of the 2011 variant's 'Technology, except engineering technology' sub-grouping in the STEM grouping, and a breakdown for the BHASE grouping into sub-groupings.
