Variant of CIP 2016 - Cannabis STEM and BHASE groupings

Status: This standard was adopted as a program-specific standard, and was registered with the Centre for Statistical and Data Standards (CSDS) as of November 12, 2020.

The Variant of CIP Canada 2016 - Cannabis STEM and BHASE groupings is a new variant of CIP that was developed by Statistics Canada exclusively for use with the Variant of CIP Canada 2016 - Cannabis groupings. It is based on the Variant of CIP Canada 2016 - STEM and BHASE groupings, with the addition of the Cannabis-related classes from the Variant of CIP Canada 2016 - Cannabis groupings.

This variant can be used to identify, analyse, and compare the STEM fields of study - science, technology, engineering and math, and the BHASE fields of study for all the Variant of CIP Canada 2016 - Cannabis groupings classes, including the cannabis-related classes in Series 71, and their non-cannabis counterparts in Series 01, 12, 44, 51 and 52.
