Definition

Experienced labour force person refers to persons 15 years and over currently in the labour force who are employed or who were employed at some point during a long reference period such as a year or more.

    The previous standard made no reference to the age of the person nor to the person currently being in the labour force. In this standard, the age has been added, as well as the indication that the person is currently in the labour force.

    In the previous standard, the French name of the statistical unit was 'Individu parmi la population active expérimentée'. In this standard, the French name has been changed to 'personne faisant partie de la population active expérimentée'.
