Production workers hours paid of establishment (manufacturing)

Definition

Production Workers Hours Paid refers to total hours at work during the calendar year plus hours not worked but nevertheless paid (e.g., paid vacations, statutory holidays) to production workers. Overtime hours are included and are reported as overtime hours actually worked or as bonus hours credited in place of payment at a premium hourly rate. Production workers are employees involved only in manufacturing operations.

Establishment (manufacturing) refers to business locations which perform manufacturing activities and normally corresponds to a plant, factory or mill; they exclude sales offices and warehouses which support manufacturing activities.
