Birth of population
Definition
Birth refers to the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of conception, irrespective of the duration of the pregnancy, whether or not the umbilical cord has been cut or the placenta is attached.
Population refers to the total membership, based on specific characteristics, of a group of people, objects or events at a given time and within a particular geographic area.
