Classification of Assets

1 - Current assets

'Current assets' includes cash and cash equivalents, accounts receivable, inventory, marketable securities, prepaid expenses and other liquid assets that can be readily converted to cash.

2 - Net capital assets

'Net capital assets' include property, plant and equipment.

3 - Other assets

'Other assets' includes all assets not reported as either current or capital assets.
