Classification of youth's status in correctional services

1 - Admission

Refers to the person's commencement of an uninterrupted period of supervision (aggregate) within a specific status (i.e., pre-trial detention, sentenced custody and probation). A new admission is counted at the commencement of each program type.

2 - Release

Refers to the completion of an uninterrupted period of supervision within a specific status (i.e., pre-trial detention, sentenced custody, community supervision and probation). A new release is counted at the completion of each program type.
