Establishments primarily engaged in the operation of railways. Included are establishments primarily engaged in providing services incidental to railway transport.

Establishments primarily engaged in acting as ticket agents and in arranging tours, accommodation and transportation are classified in Industry Group 996 - Ticket and Travel Agencies.
