Government levels

4.1 - Federal Government

The Federal Government subcomponent contains the sovereign and non-sovereign bodies of federal ministries, departments and agencies; autonomous organizations, boards, commissions and
funds; and other instrumentalities. The institutional units in this subcomponent are engaged in the
implementation of government policy and/or the delivery of government services.

4.2 - Provincial / Territorial Government

The Provincial and Territorial Government subcomponent contains the sovereign and non-
sovereign bodies of provincial-territorial ministries, departments and agencies; autonomous boards,
commissions and funds; and autonomous non-commercial, non-profit education, health and social
service agencies controlled by provincial-territorial government. The institutional units in this subcomponent are engaged in the implementation of government policy and/or the delivery of government services.
