2 - Long-term assets

An asset that has a useful life greater than one year. Such an asset, which can be either a tangible or intangible item, is usually not purchased for resale, but is to be used over time to produce saleable products. Included are land and buildings, machinery and equipment, quota and productive assets such as breeding herd and investments. All items are valued at current market value.
