The reporting requirements of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) differ from the methodological guidelines of the United Nations System of Environmental-Economic Accounting used to create this account. As such there are differences between the totals reported in the Greenhouse Gas Account and Canada's National Inventory Report on Greenhouse Gas Sources and Sinks. These reconciliation items are included with the Greenhouse Gas Account to demonstrate these differences.
