This subclass comprises transportation of passengers who have physical or cognitive impairments that make them unable to use regular urban transit. Transportation is by shared vans, minibuses or automobiles, is not operated on regular schedules or routes, and is available only to registered passengers by reservation. Passengers are transported to and from their individual homes, workplaces and other locations. Passengers are charged a per-trip fee. Covers special needs urban transit service whether paid for by passengers or by contracts.
