Classification of economic family type

1 - Primary economic family

This category refers to the economic family of which the primary household maintainer (i.e., the first person identified as being responsible for household payments) is a member.

2 - Secondary economic family

This category refers to any economic family which contains a household maintainer other than the primary household maintainer.
