1 - Out-migrant (five years, CMA/CA)

This category includes persons who lived in a specified census metropolitan area (CMA) or census agglomeration (CA) five years before the reference date, but did not live there on the reference date.

2 - Not an out-migrant (five years, CMA/CA)

This category includes persons who were not residents of any census metropolitan area (CMA) or census agglomeration (CA) five years before the reference date. It also includes persons who were residents of a particular CMA or CA on the reference date and had lived in that same CMA or CA five years before the reference date.
