185 - Military and Armed Forces
An interdisciplinary program of studies examining the causes and conditions of international and conflict. Studies range from practical aspects of armaments and machinery to theoretical perspectives on the nature and origins of war throughout history. Special courses are given to military personnel either in-house in National Defence settings or at several military colleges across Canada. Universities also offer programs in the related area of Peace and Conflict studies.
