52.1004 - Labour studies

This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the study of various aspects of work, labour organization and policy, and labour movements from the perspective of the social sciences and history. These programs include courses in labour history; political and ideological issues; worker movements and social organizations; civil rights; labour law and policy studies; labour economics; international and comparative labour studies; and applications to specific industries, groups, locations, and time periods.
