H8 - Trades Helpers, Construction and Transportation Labourers and Related Occupations

Occupations in this major group are primarily concerned with assisting trades persons and performing manual work at construction sites; performing a variety of labouring activities to maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and similar areas; transferring cargo onto and from ships; handling, moving, loading and unloading materials; performing labouring tasks to assist track maintenance workers and railway yard workers or motor transport operators; and performing labouring activities not elsewhere classified to assist trades persons.
