Classification of cisgender, transgender and non-binary

2 - Transgender person

This category includes persons whose reported gender does not correspond to their reported sex at birth. It includes transgender (trans) men and women. Non-binary persons are excluded.

21 - Transgender man

This category includes persons whose reported sex at birth is female and reported gender is male. It also includes persons whose reported gender is transgender or trans man.

22 - Transgender woman

This category includes persons whose reported sex at birth is male and reported gender is female. It also includes persons whose reported gender is transgender or trans woman.
