2 - Second generation

This category includes persons who were born in Canada and had at least one parent born outside Canada. For the most part, these are the children of immigrants.

21 - Second generation - All parents born outside Canada

This category includes persons who were born in Canada with all parents born outside Canada.

22 - Second generation - One parent born in Canada and one parent born outside Canada

This category includes persons who were born in Canada and had at least one parent born in Canada and one parent born outside Canada.
