Services which support educational systems or processes, usually provided on a fee for service or contract basis. Includes educational testing services; curriculum, program and educational materials design and assessment services; and development, facilitation or management of scholarship programs and academic exchanges.

611005.3.1 - Educational testing services

Services for the design, development or implementation of educational tests or testing systems; educational test administration services; and educational assessments for individuals.

611005.3.1.1 - Educational test and testing system design services

Services for the design, development or implementation of educational tests or testing systems. Services may include processing and data management.

611005.3.1.2 - Educational test administration services

Services for the administration of educational tests, such as literacy tests, admission tests, language proficiency tests, computer certification tests. Includes invigilation services, proctoring services, and test security services.

611005.3.1.3 - Educational assessment services for individuals

Services using standardized tests and other tools to measure and evaluate a person's knowledge, skills, abilities, learning needs or prior academic or professional credentials. Examples are academic assessment services, special needs assessment services, placement testing services, prior learning recognition assessments, advance credit or transfer evaluations, foreign credential evaluation services.
