The consolidation, storage and preparation for transportation of hazardous waste and the recovery of recyclable material from the hazardous waste stream.

562001.3.1 - Hazardous waste transfer facility services

Consolidation, temporary storage, and preparation for transport of hazardous waste to an appropriate facility for treatment, disposal, or reuse. Includes drop-off centre services, transfer and container stations.

562001.3.2 - Hazardous waste recyclable material recovery and preparation services

Recovery of hazardous recyclable material (such as used oils, solvents and batteries) from the hazardous waste stream by sorting, consolidating, reducing volume and preparing for shipment.
