Programs and courses which lead to a Bachelor's degree, or a first professional degree. A Bachelor's degree usually requires 3 or 4 years of full-time university, university-college or college level study. It includes an Applied degree and a five-year co-operative work/study program. First professional degree programs are in law (L.L.B., J.D, B.C.L), medicine (M.D.), optometry (O.D.), veterinary medicine (D.V.M.), dentistry (D.D.S, D.M.D.), theology (M.Div.), and education (B.Ed. requiring a prior Bachelor's degree).
