40.0602 - Geochemistry

This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the scientific study of the chemical properties and behaviour of the silicates and other substances forming, and formed by geomorphological processes of the Earth and other planets. These programs include courses in chemical thermodynamics, equilibrium in silicate systems, atomic bonding, isotopic fractionation, geochemical modelling, specimen analysis, and studies of specific organic and inorganic substances.
