This series comprises instructional programs that focus on the structure and use of the French language and dialects, speech, writing, and various aspects of the literatures and cultures of the French-speaking peoples. Note: Series 55 is for Canadian use only. In the United States, programs that provide instruction in French as a foreign language should be reported under instructional program code 16.0901.
